With Bentley's 100th anniversary looming next year, the Mulliner division is celebrating its founder with a special edition Mulsanne. It pays tribute to the company's founder father, W.O. Bentley and includes a piece of one of his automobiles.
The model is ordered with a regular Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. used as his personal car. The influence of the car can be observed in the cabin. For example the Mulliner illuminated bar cabinet has the display of a piece of the 8 Litre crankshaft displayed inside.
W.O. is emblazoned in an air vent in the shape of a B on the chrome appliqué that runs across the back of the vehicle. the car's signature front grille designed after the 1930s-appropriate Onyx color of the limited edition, and an optional chrome-colored application that wraps around the lower spoilers left and right. The front grille is also unique, featuring the chrome-colored shell instead of the standard body-color mesh like that of the standard Mulsanne and also featuring the Flying B logo as well.
A key box engraved with the Bentley wings can hold two keys and is adorned with black flock lining, while key pouches can be purchased to complement or stand out from the key box. The set is also commemorative, and includes a custom 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and the paperweight that flies with the letter 'B and a printed brochure featuring previously unpublished images of the original 1930s 8 Litre.
